Ability Level
Skiers that have moved beyond the basics and feel more comfortable on the slopes making strong parallel turns with solid edge control. These skiers are exploring more of the mountain and ski the majority of the runs at most resorts, but still improving their skills to take on the hardest runs with confidence. The majority of intermediate skiers can adjust and manage their speed while adjusting to a variety of terrain and snow conditions.
Very experienced skiers that can easily tackle all types of terrain. Even at high speed, these skiers are balanced, controlled and confident. They ski efficiently with strong technique not matter what turn shape or at any speed. Expert skiers enjoy the challenge of variable conditions and terrain — from groomers to deep snow and tight trees to wide open faces - while adjusting quickly to unexpected obstacles along the way.
Flex
Given the needs and level of every skiers, we project models with different flex, thanks to the combination of different plastics. Tecnica ski boots are divided into: HARD (flex man 140-120/woman 115-95), MEDIUM (flex man 110-90/woman 85-75) e SOFT (flex man 80-60/woman 65-55).
- HARD: for expert and more robust skiers
- MEDIUM: for intermediate and/or medium-sized
- SOFT: for beginners or lighter skiers
Width
The width of foot's sole changes from person to person, that's why our ski boots have different volumes to meet the needs of every skier. Tecnica ski boots are divided into: LV (low – from 93 to 98mm), MV (mid – from 99 to 100mm) and HV (high – 103mm).
-
LV: for skiers with narrow foot's sole or for those who prefer a more enveloping and precise fit
- MV: for skiers with medium foot's sole or for those who prefer a regular fit
- HV: for skiers with a wide foot's sole or for those who prefer a comfortable fit
Technologies
T-Sport
Inspired by Tecnica’s innovative T-Drive technology, the new T-Sport system creates a performance-bridge between the upper cuff and lower shell. This strategic link enhances power transmission directly to the skier’s forefoot—where precision and control matter most. Designed to maintain shell integrity and deliver a consistent, responsive flex, T-Sport offers a simple yet effective solution to elevate your experience on the mountain.
T-SPORT FEATURES
- Power transmission
- Precision and control
- Responsive flex

C.A.S. Liner
C.A.S. has revolutionized ski boots with regards to fit and personalization. The liners are anatomically shaped for optimal comfort and offer great heel hold. The internal part of the liner is shaped to match the foot while the exterior matches and conforms to the shape of the shell. The dual density micro-cell material is durable and easy to customize. The C.A.S. liners are less prone to pack-out maintaining the fit over a longer period of time.
LINER FEATURES
- Anatomic and precise shape
- Dual density pre-shaped thermoformed microcell material
- Great out-of-the box fit
- Enhanced sensitivity
LINER CUSTOMIZATION
- THERMO-SHAPING: Liner in the oven: 80°C-176°F / 8 minutes.
- PUNCHING (INCREASE VOLUME): Microcell material can be heated and punched in problem fit areas.
- GRINDING (INCREASE VOLUME): Microcell material is easily grindable up to 2 mm in problem fit areas.
- FIT KIT (DECREASE VOLUME): Glue the C.A.S. Fit Kit pre-shaped pieces to decrease the volume of the liner.

BOA Technology
The BOA® Fit System, provides a performance fit engineered to enhance feel, and responsiveness while reducing pressure points by incrementally modulating the Alpine boot closure with precise micro-adjustments.
DIALED IN: Micro-adjustable, precision fit
LOCKED IN: Uniform wrap delivering superior heel hold and edge-to-edge control
CONFIDENT: Engineered to perform in the toughest conditions
Additional Technologies and Features
-
QUICK INSTEP: Utilizes softer plastic over the instep area that allows the shell to open easier as you are entering or exiting the boot.
-
LIFT LOCK BUCKLES: Innovative Lift Lock system holds the buckles up and out of the way so they don't catch while getting in or out of your boots.
-
ECO DESIGN: The ability to obtain regenerated material with homogeneous and known mechanical characteristics will allow a wider use of them in the production on new ski-boots.
-
MATERIAL TRACEABILITY PROGRAM: QR will provide a precise description of all the materials used in the production of the specific ski-boot, allowing a more precise and consistent regeneration of those materials. This will result in better quality and more possibility to reuse in new ski-boots production.
-
C.A.S. SHELL: The C.A.S. Shell has an anatomical shape that matches the shape of the foot. This allows for a better out-of-the box initial fit. The dimples on the shell offer less surface tension and facilitate heating, making customizing the shell easier. The shell retains the new shape better and longer.

-
- Anatomic and precise shape
- Easier and faster thermo-forming
- Easy customization
