Now Hiring: Leadership Development Role

30-40 hours/week • Winston-Salem, NC

If you love helping people and love being outside, you’re already our kind of person.

Ski & Tennis Station is looking for a full-time team member who’s excited to learn the ropes, grow into leadership, and help customers gear up for the sports that make life more fun. This role includes a manager‑in‑training track. That means you’ll get hands-on experience with store operations, merchandising, and the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps our shop running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and help them find the right gear or apparel.
• Learn the ins and outs of skis, snowboards, racquets, paddles, boots, and all the accessories that go with them.
• Assist with fittings, rentals, and everyday shop tasks (can be learned on the job).
• Help keep the store looking sharp: merchandising, restocking, organizing.
• Learn important e-commerce skills such as product entry, refinement and optimization.
• Support daily operations and gradually take on leadership responsibilities.
• Bring good energy to the team and the customers who rely on us.

Who You Are

• You genuinely enjoy helping people.
• You’re curious, teachable, and not afraid to jump in.
• You like being active…bonus points if you ski or snowboard!
• You’re comfortable working 30-40 hours per week, including some weekend hours.
• You communicate clearly and don’t mind asking questions.
• You’re excited about growing into a leadership role over time.
