The FÆRO MIPS combines state-of-the-art technology with exceptional comfort.

The in-mould helmet is equipped with the innovative Sphere Fit System with height adjustment, which ensures a customised fit and optimum support. The Tech-Lining and the Surround Comfort Design guarantee a comfortable fit, while the thermal ventilation ensures perfect air circulation. The Mips® Integra TX system complements the traditional fabric-and-foam comfort padding with an integrated low-friction layer. The system provides movement to help reduce rotational motion to the head in certain angled impacts, without altering comfort and fit or adding weight to the helmet.

  The shock absorbing inner EPS layer of this technology is injected into the hard outer polycarbonate layer to create a single comprehensive unit that provides perfect protection at a reduced weight.

• Sphere Fit Height Adjustment

  An enhanced fit system that adjusts the helmet’s height to match your head shape—especially around your forehead and nose—for a custom feel and perfect goggle fit.

• Surround Comfort Design

  The Surround Comfort Design extends the patented Sphere Fit System to ensure a snug fit also around the ear area. This design securely and comfortably encloses the head, allowing the helmet to sit lower and reduce visual bulk.

• The 360° Microshell is a polycarbonate layer, which three-dimensionally wraps around the lower helmet lip, that prevents scratches and dents in the helmet’s foam.

• Thermal Ventilation is our automatic ventilation system which leads warm air away from the head to the outside without allowing any cold air to the inside.

   

• Experience unparalleled comfort with Vegan Silk, a soft, thin, and stretchy material used for the inner lining of the MIPS model. This stretchy fabric supports the MIPS® system's ability to reduce rotational forces during impacts, ensuring superior protection and a comfortable fit.

   

• HEAD’s enhanced Sphere Fit System features an innovative height adjustment, allowing the helmet to be perfectly tailored to individual forehead and nose contours. This ensures an ideal helmet fit and seamless integration with ski goggles.

• The Neckgaiter provides comfort and warmth to the helmet wearer. It adds comfort, fit and excludes the elements.

• EN 1077 is the European standard for ski & snowboard helmets, taking into account the results of collision tests to ascertain dampening and puncture resistant qualities of the outer shell. Class B of this certificate certifies helmets with soft ear protectors.
